How to Make Mini-Charm Bookmarks

Step 1: Use pre-cut 2.5” fabric squares or cut your own. You will need 6.

Step 2: Decide how you want each side of your bookmark to look and take 2 squares, right sides together, and sew together using a 1/4” seam allowance.

Step 3: Do this with the next square so you will have a row of three. Do this again with the other 3 squares.

Step 4: Iron seams open.

Step 5: Next you will cut a rectangle, slightly smaller than each of the two strips, from Heat-n-Bond, placing adhesive side on fabric with paper liner side facing up. Iron using a Medium heat setting. Allow to cool and peel off the paper liner from both pieces of fabric.

Step 6: Next, take a piece of ric-rac or ribbon and fold it in half. Lay either the folded end or open ends (whichever you prefer to stick out) in the middle of the top of one fabric piece. Lay the other fabric piece over the top of it. Iron these together.
